Does anyone have access to a chart showing distances and approximate travel times via rail to include Italy, Croatia and some of the other Eastern European countries. There used to be a chart giving this information as well as approximate cost for Great Britain. Thank you in advance.

In the first place, it's only as accurate as the exchange rate when it was calculated. In the second place, in Germany, at least, it only shows the cost of the most expensive connections. There are a lot of less expensive options (IC and regional trains, Sparpreis fares and Länder tickets). The map shows Frankfurt to Munich as $115, 3 hrs. · The fastest trains today (ICE) do the trip in 3h10m for $120 pP. · You can go by IC/EC in 4 hrs for $96 pP. · Regional trains will take about 5½ hrs and cost $71 pP. · If you use regional trains with a Bayern-Ticket and a RMV local ticket to Kahl, it will cost €29 + €7,30 pP ($22 pP for two). · If you book well in advance, the trip by ICE/IC/EC on a Sparpreis ticket could be as low as €29 pP.
