Disposible Razors On Overseas Flights

Basically am I allowed to take one on a carry on bag? I'm flying British Airways Baltimore to London later this year.

From the TSA website, www.tsa.gov, "prohibited items": "Razor-Type Blades - such as box cutters, utility knives, and safety razor blades (disposable razors and their cartridges are permitted)" (My underline). Disposable razors are permitted in both carryon and checked luggage. Box cutters, utility knives, and razor blades are only permitted in checked luggage. I've made my last three trips to Europe with a disposable razor (saves the almost 1# of my rechargeable razor). Can you imagine someone trying to hijack an airplane with a disposable razor?

Hey, anything can be a weapon - you can kill someone with a pen. :) Safety razors are fine - I sometimes take 2, depending on the length of the trip (one on the handle and another unopened in a package). If you bring nail scissors, you might have more of a problem. I travel with those as well and a few years ago I flew BA to Brussels with a change in London. The security people in Heathrow almost took away my scissors but then told me that this time, the scissors were fine (they said the rules changed often and sometimes nail scissors weren't allowed). Check BA's website for permitted items.
