Need help on how to get from these two metro stations to Versailles.
The Journey Planner on the RATP site suggests these routes. Chemin Vert: Take Metro line 8 to Invalides and the RER C from there to Versailles-Rive Gauche. Breguet-Sabin: Take Metro line 5 to Gare d'Austerlitz and the RER C from there to Versailles-Rive Gauche. The RER C line divides on the west side of Paris. Be sure to get on a trian that is going to Versailles-Rive Gauche.
The other thing to remember is that your Metro ticket will transfer you onto the RER C and is valid in central Paris. But it WILL NOT be valid all the way to Versailles. You must purchase a RER ticket all the way to Versailles. The trains to Versailles Rive-Gauche are labeled as VICK.
