Hi,
Is there a big difference between the two? We are only going to be on the train a little over a hour. The price difference is over 20 Euros per ticket.

Seats are a little wider, free sandwich/drink served at your seat, and free WiFi.

Not sure what we had but had a nice compartment and a very nice lunch. I really enjoyed it.

For a train ride that short, I don't think it's worth the extra cost -- but that's a personal decision. My cutoff is 3-4 hours or more.
