Did not receive money for cancellation

We booked the ticket using http://www.tgv-europe.com/en/home/ on 19.01.2009 for my family travel from Paris to Rome on 08.02.2009 via artesia train 00227 departing at 18.52 hrs and opted for delivery to train ticket at my residence address in Norway.

We did not receive the ticket by post mail till our departure from Norway on Late 03rd February, so we reached early on Paris bercy SNCF counter to get the train ticket. As there was no provision of issue of duplicate tickets, after discussion and as per their advice, our tickets booked through Internet were canceled and cancellation note provided after noting down our credit card number for refund on a separate form(we were told that the tickets are 100% refundable). We traveled on our onward journey on a new ticket purchased at the same time.

On our return to Norway, till date neither we have received the original train tickets nor money in bank account. I could log in to my account on voyages-sncf.com to find the train ticket is not yet cancelled and it is showing a debit of 53 ? against original amount of 570. asking us to deposit the original tickets within 60 days (till 9th April 09).

Since we did not received ticket till date so please tell us what is the procedure and how we will get back money. Please help us we have been trying since many days.

If you have the documentation of the cancellation from SNCF, dispute the charge and forward the documentation to your credit card company. Did you use a credit card or a debit card? In the US, that would make a big difference.

I'm not sure I understand all the details of your problem, but it seems to me you need to contact your credit card company at this point, and launch a dispute of the charge.

Just continue to my previous case, as I mentioned that if we log on to the official website voyages-sncf.com of the SNCF, it still show our ticket details with reference number. So whether this is problem with SNCF or debit card company. The unfortunate thing is that they do not have any customer care number. We have send mail many times but we have not received any reply from them.
