Due to something that has arisen within the past 24 hours, I need to jump on another, domestic flight immediately after I return to the US at DFW tomorrow (I'm currently in Europe). Question for those who have arrived here on international flights. Does two hours seem like an adequate amount of time to deplane, go through immigration, get my bags then check into another domestic flight?
I've flown through DFW numerous times.
The answer to your question is: it depends.
What airlines are you flying? Both the same or two different one?
Which terminals do you arrive and depart from? There are five at DFW.
Can you stay "airside" after immigration/customs? If so, the "Skylink" will take you between terminals?
Check with your domestic flight's airline to see if you can recheck your luggage after customs without leaving the secure area.
See if you can print out your boarding pass for the second flight before leaving Europe.
DFW Airport's website offers lots on info. The more you know before you get there, the more time you save.

But to sum it, the answer to your question is, IMHO, "probably."
You will most likely have to transfer to another terminal, going from the "international" terminal D to one of the "domestic" terminals. The monorail connecting the terminals is frequent, though, and shouldn't hold you up. And generally, baggage handling is also efficient.
I would think that any time issues would come from the immigration process. Leave the plane quickly, and don't detour to the restrooms as you make your way to the immigration lines. This should keep you near the front of the herd, and increase the chance you will make your connection.
A two-hour connection is possible, just keep your fingers crossed that you arrive on-time.
