I'm taking my family of 6 to Europe this September. My daughters will be 8, 11, 13 & 14 at the time of our trip. Based on the advice from other postings, I've decided to use the bahn.de website to book our tickets from Paris to Rothenburg. However, when I try to use the "More than 5 travelers" link, I end up with an error (using the English & German websites). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not getting error messages on the English side. Clicking "More than 5" just resets the query. On the German side it wants you to input the number of travelers with age 6-14 counting as half a traveler, which would only be the case if they weren't your own children. Then when you count the number of travelers their way, clicking "Suchen" does nothing. It isn't because of age differences for travel in France, either. I get the same results for Offenburg to Rothenburg. If you input one adult and two children, it seems to work right for either standard or Sparpreis, so you might do it a two tickets. Alternately, you could call German Rail, either in Germany or their British office. That's if you want either full fare or Savings fare tickets straight through from Paris to Rothenburg. BTW, I emailed them about the problem with their website. I'm guessing the already knew.
