It looks like purchasing a train pass for my husband and I to travel through Germany (train travel on four days) will be a good option but one of those trips will be a night train and we would like a sleeper car. I cannot figure out how to determine what the surcharge will be for a sleeper car with a train pass nor where to book with said pass. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!
If you give your route for the night train, I'll help you with booking the supplement for a two-bed sleeper using the German Rail site.
Before that, though, go to the German National rail website and check their prices for point to point tickets for the journeys you plan. Some excellent deals are available through their website, and a comparison will likely find that the cost will be far less than that of a rail pass.
