It's official....Delta and Northwest have merged. As of now Northwest will be run separately as a subsidiary of Delta and we can expect the full merger within a year or two.

We are taking a wait and see attitude. In general I like the idea and we probably have flown those two airlines the most, but our relatively small regional airport is one of those that may lose out on routes. Currently between NWA and Delta, we get flights to MSP, Detroit, Chicago, Cincinatti, and Atlanta (plus other cities through other airlines). Somehow I see them reducing some of the routes to boost volume to select routes.
