Delta check in to UK

I already checked in and received my boarding passes from Atlanta to London. Also did the UK ETA.

But it says I need to complete government forms for FlyReady. Passport info, etc. do I need to complete all that if I already have my boarding pass?

FlyReady is good to have as you load your passport information on it. I still have to show my passport at the gate when I am departing the US (but not when I am departing EU or UK).

Do you have a direct flight to London or do you fly from your home airport to a hub and then catch your international leg?

No, you don’t have to but it’s worthwhile step(s) to complete. Completing FlyReady may alert you to potential issues with your documents or others you may need. It may be a time saver for required arrival and departure documents. I completed it a couple of times over the last 12+ months. My passport information is stored in my airline profile.

United has something similar. It just makes life at the airport a bit easier and I’m all for that!

And if you can’t do it, don’t worry about it. Delta‘s fly ready really should be renamed to not ready to fly because it is absolutely worthless. I don’t even try anymore. I just do it at the airport. I have better ways to live my life than fighting with pathetically bad information technology

Do you have to go to the counters even if you have carryon and your boarding pass?
