I have been searching for someone’s experience using Delta’s refundable ticket.
I have a round trip Delta Comfort + refundable ticket for May 2027 flight to Italy. Cost $2158.
Will I receive the full Amount, or something less?

Under the "cancel an extra or refundable ticket" section it says you will be refunded the amount to the original form of payment. Since you already purchased the flight, the information about the type of ticket and refunds is in the "view terms and conditions" link on the page with your flight info.

CL thanks for your reply. I have been down every path I can find more than once. Can’t get a human on line or chat. So I hope to find some one who actual experienced getting it canceled. I can’t start the process because you lose your current reservation booking and seat selection. Thank you

Are you actually trying to cancel the ticket, or just want to understand how to do
it in case you need to cancel?
If you want to cancel, you should be able to do it online using the record locator
from the reservation. I don't understand the concern about losing the reservation/
seat selection, since you say you want to cancel.
If you want to make sure you know how it works, as noted, read (carefully) the
T&C that is most likely referenced in the reservation confirmation you received.
There any many types of fares and conditions that go with each, and while it
would be likely you would get full reimbursement to original form of payment
if this is a fully refundable ticket, without reading the fare rules, it's impossible
to be 100% sure.
If you are looking to talk to someone, perhaps the best thing to do is to go
to Sea-Tac if you are unable to reach someone online/via phone.

If it's fully refundable and departs from the US you will get everything back to the original form of payment.
If it departs from someplace besides the US there generally is a $200 to $300 fee.
When you go to cancel be careful, I screwed one up last week and turned a refund into a credit. They prompt you and I selected the wrong thing! (Luckily I will use it so no big deal)
