What is the best bus to take for a day trip to Montepulciano from Florence?

This usually does not work well as a day trip. Using the Sena bus each way is 3.5 hrs/
7 hrs. total. Car is really the only logical way to do this..1.5hrs, total of 3 hrs. Easy to do,
mostly autostrada.
