I am looking for affordable and reliable round trip transfers from CTA airport to Taormina. Any recommendations? Our trip is in June with a party of 6.

A driver may be a better option with such a large group. We used Sicily Life.

One option if luggage is not an issue is a very inexpensive bus right from the airport - costs about 6 EUR or so one-way. It drops you 5 minutes walk from the town gate.

I also recommend Sicily Life. Even though I was alone, the driver had a van to take me from the Airport to Taormina. He had just dropped off a group. Fluent in English and gave me commentary on Sicily and what I was seening on the way to my hotel. (He was trying to show how good the guides were so I would take a private tour.)
My flight was early but he was there waiting.
Depending on where you are going, the town gate may not be that easy to get to or from.
