have heard about "transitional" cruises in the spring and fall....rather than contacting each cruise ship company, is there a web site that lists all of them? i was unable to find one
I don't know of a central website, but if you Google "positioning" or "repositioning" cruises a lot of sites come up. Some of them might be consolidators that would handle several cruise lines.
I found a page on Cruise Critic menu bar FIND a CRUISE where you can choose "transatlantic" in the top drop down menu. They leave "any cruise line" "any length" "any port" to get the optimum choices. You can the "from" date, say April or May, and find out what's available. http://www.cruisecritic.com/cruiseto/
A couple more websites you can try are: Vacationstogo.com
Cruisesonly.com They also allow you to search for repositioning cruises and by month.
I like vacationstogo.com. I think they have the best search engine. Search "repositioning cruises' Plug in the time frame and maybe a port you want to start or finish at to trim the list.
vacationstogo is a good search for cruise website.. but bb , you should also go on the cruisecritc.com website, it is best forum for cruisers and cruising,, it has everything ,, forums for cruise ports, cruise lines, best excursions, and you can even enter your date of cruise and "meet" others online who are going on same cruise.
