Cruise from Venice to Croatia

Thanks Jeff! I notice that this site is only Ferries. So, I would assume they do not offer overnight cruises? Only day trips?

Check out MS Arion, a small cruise ship that leaves from Koper, Slovenia on an 8 day, 7 night trip along the Adriatic coast. It seems reasonably priced at $1,095 p/p, but sometimes Gate 1 has it for less. Also check out jauntee.com who can help with reservations or tours in that area. I believe the frist cruise dates are in May. I think you can book bus transportation through them from Venice to Koper. I am planning to take the cruise in June and would be grateful for any feedback from anyone who has taken this cruise.

Hi Beth, I have been looking at cruising from Venice to Croatia as well. I have found couple of ships, MV Monet and MV Andrea that do this trip. The capacity of the Monet is 65 pax. The reviews make it sound like it's an older crowd (like me) on board but the itinerary looks good. cruisecritic.com has reviews on big and little ships. I would suggest looking at reviews ship by ship rather than by line. A ship can be good or bad depending on how well it's managed.

Thank you for all of your input everyone! We have actually decided to rent an apartment in Venice for two weeks and take day ferries to the differnt locations along the Croatian coast. Thank you for all of your great advice!
