I am planning a trip to Ireland in March 2009.After several days i want to go to Scotland. Is there a ferry that will take me thru the North Channel? Or do i have to go to Liverpool or some other city in Great Britain and then proceed to Scotland? Bear in mind is for March 2009 when,i imagine, the sea is not very friendly....Thanks!
There is a ferry from Belfast. Go to www.visitscotland.com and look at the travel section. There is a part on traveling to Scotland and has info on the ferries and the connections to Glasgow, Edinburgh etc. Scots and Irish rarely let the weather stop them from much of anything.
