Croatia to Rimini To Travel?

I am planning a trip through Croatia, from Zagreb to a dalmation coast city and from there on to Somewhere on Italy's East coast and ultimately to Florence.
The travel across the Tyrrhennian sea would happen in early June. As of now, I have just found ferry lines that begin routes in late June. Does anyone know of a way that this travel could be done?

Have you checked out THIS link from the website CroatiaTraveller.com? It indicates there a few year-round ferry lines between Croatia and Italy, although operating on a limited schedule outside summer months.

(also, the trip between Croatia and Italy would be across the Adriatic Sea, and I only point that out to save any possible confusion)
