Critique my itinerary in Amalfi Coast

Hi,

I am taking a train from Pisa all the way to Sorrento.
Day 1 - I would like to take a ferry from Sorrento to Capri, spend sometime in Capri and then go to Naples around afternoon. Spend the rest of the day in Naples and return back to Sorrento by Ferry.

Day 2 - I want to take a look at Sorrento in the morning, Go to Pompei, spend most of the day and return back to Sorrento in the night

Day 3 - Take a bus, go to Positano , then to Amalfi and then go to Salerno in the evening. Take a train from Salerno to Rome and end up in the night at Rome.

Which has more places to see, Naples or Pompei ? Does this itinerary look good ?

I'm assuming your Day 1 begins in Sorrento, having traveled from Pisa the day before?

If so, this looks great.

That is correct. Will be coming to sorrento the day before .
What is a good ferry service to take to Capri and Naples?
Also what bus should I take from sorrento to Salerno via Amalfi and positano

There's one big attraction in Naples, the Archaeological Museum. That's where all the good stuff from Pompeii has been moved to. Just be aware that Naples is rather chaotic. Get VERY explicit directions on how to get to what you want to see, or you will waste oodles of time. One example: when we were leaving for the Amalfi coast, we were told to get the bus at Piazza del Populo. It's huge, about 2 blocks square, with bus stop signs at many spots. After wandering about, we finally asked a policeman, who pointed us toward a place a couple of blocks away. Other similar experiences led us to conclude that Neapolitans are apt to give directions by naming a nearby landmark that won't necessarily give tourists enough information to find places efficiently.
