There're great rates on the East Coast Train web site, but will NOT take our U.S. credit cards; called U.S. credit card companies who insist there should be no problem; rates on the site referenced by"man in seat 61' are 3x higher, not reflecting direct web discounts. HELP. How do we book from US and get the best UK prices?

Hi fellow "San Diegan". I had the same problem. I was selecting "Visa Debit" and it wouldn't work, but when I tried "Visa Credit" it worked. Hope this helps.
