Hi! Does anyone know if trip insurance covers flight cancellation ( for covid related issues)for a trip you book in 2021? I wasn't sure if that was a non covered thing. Guess I don't trust anyone anymore👹👹Thanks!!

Insurance policies vary, so you need to read the small print. Most new policies don’t cover Covid related issues.

I have looked at two policies one with World Nomads and one with TravelEx that would cancel IF the cancellation was caused because you got sick etc....
If however, you decide not to go because of quarantine rules either at your home or destination they do NOT cover you. For that you would need a more expensive "cancel for any reason" policy.

It makes a big difference if you are the one cancelling the flight, or the airline is cancelling the flight.
