Costa del sol to Malaga

Danie....can you be a little more specific? Malaga is PART of the Costa del Sol.

Having lived in the area for about 3 years, here's my take. The train that serves the Malaga Airport(Pablo Ruiz Picasso Airpot is the formal name, you see the painter was born there. Actor Antonio Banderas is also a Malaga native) runs to the east as far as Malaga. To the west it runs till Fuengirola. For towns like Marbella and Pueto Banus still further west, there is a bus that will get you there. If you get a car then going west from Malaga is what most vacationers consider the Costa del Sol. The Costa del Sol is alternately referred to by locals as the Costa del Golf-there are over 30 golf courses in a 23 mile stretch-and Costa del Crime. I have also seen magazine ads extol the area as The California of Spain. Have a great visit. Vale venga.
