Cost from Milan to Lauterbrunnen with Swiss Pass

Hi all,

I'm a bit confused on costs from Milan to Lauterbrunnen when I have the Swiss Pass. I pay for the portion of getting out of Italy, right? So is it cheapest to find the closest place in Switzerland, change trains there, and then continue to Lauterbrunnen which is covered under the Swiss Pass?

Seems like the options are Chiasso or Domodossola or Brig, but there are some price differences between Milan and each of those cities.

When you buy your ticket just tell the person that you already have a Swiss Pass and you will be given credit for the Pass and pay the difference - just one ticket and you don't have to leave your train seat on the trip.

You will have your Swiss Pass before you board the train, right?

No, Milan is not in Switzerland so is not covered by the Swiss Pass.

When you buy your ticket just tell the person that you already have a Swiss Pass and you will be given credit for the Pass and pay the difference - just one ticket and you don't have to leave your train seat on the trip. That is for the Eurocity into Switzerland. You can still buy your Freccia from Venice, but you didn't mention that one in your question just above.
