Has anyone had a problem going through airport security with a Continuous Glucose Monitor?
Wife has for years and not once have we had any problems, They are pretty common nowadays.
My wife has one; she also has a metal hip so gets the 'special' screening anyway.
No mention of it being a 'problem'; pretty sure she mentions where all her 'bionic woman' parts are so the screeners are aware of what areas will 'glow'.
Just put it in a carry on bag or back pack when going thru security. Technically they won't even set off the magnetometer. Same with an insulin pump. But if it's an x-ray machine, they'll see and stop you.
The CGU is the best thing since sliced bread for anyone watching their blood sugars.
I would NOT take it off while going through security. Then it is finished, and you would have to install a new one!
