Connection time in Munich

Hi,

I am looking at booking flights from Split to Munich 0755-0935 and then Munich to Athens 11:15-14:45. Does anyone know if this is enough time in between flights?

Thanks,

Lisa

What airlines? I've done 2 hours to N. A. and spent an hour drinking coffee at the gate. But that was all on Lufthansa. All on one ticket? Makes a difference.

At close to two hours, I would book it. Of course, the usual out -- assume everything is on time. Should stay behind security it is just a walk between gates.

Munich has two terminals. T2 seems to be international (ie, outside Europe) flights and Lufthansa domestic (intra-Europe) flights. T1 seems to be non-LH domestic flights. If both flights are Lufthansa, you should be alright. If you have to change terminals, there is a shuttle, but I think you still have to leave and return to the secure area. Croatia is not yet a part of Schengen, so you will have to go through immigration as well. 1½ hours might be cutting it a little tight. I think even if you are using Lufthansa, going through immigration in T2 will leave you outside the secure area and you will have to go back through security to get to your gate. However, I never really paid much attention to this in Munich.

I would be booking them as two separate flights. The first flight is Croatia Airlines and the second Lufthansa. I checked the Munich Airport website and it says both flights are out of Terminal 2 and the minimum connecting time is 30 minutes so I think I will chance it. Thanks for your help!
