Connection in Instanbul to Europe from US

Sorry if this has been answered, but couldn't find on a search:

I'm flying Turkish Air from the US to Instanbul, and then connecting on a Turkish Air flight to Munich.
Will they check my bag all the way to Munich, or will I need to retrieve it and re-check in at Instanbul?
Depending on the answer, may just carry it on all the way

IStanbul is fabulous, and your bag will be checked all the way through.

Your bag will be checked to Munich.

You are flying from the US to Istanbul then backtracking nearly three hours. I hope you saved a lot of money.

So long as your booking is on a single ticket, your baggage will go through all the way to Munich.

Istanbul's airport is pretty great, and I've been drawn in by Turkish Airline's prices in the past as well! A couple years ago they had extremely attractive pricing in business class from the US to Prague, via Istanbul (and one of the good things about Turkish Airlines' business class is they have a full business class cabin with bigger seats and much more legroom, like you'd find on domestic first in the US and quite nicer than many of the economy-with-middle-seat-blocked-off on other European carriers for intra-Europe business).

Turkish Airlines knows they're a bit out of the way for many people coming from North America and traveling to other parts of Europe, so the airport is really configured well for those kinds of passengers. They also have some very useful information here:

Thanks for the helpful replies everybody.
Yes, I am flying biz class because I got a good price on a ticket a few months back. When I checked more recently, a direct on Lufthansa biz had come down significantly from when I compared and bought the Turkish ticket. Oh well, good lesson learned to wait when buying tickets, but I figure it will be an adventure.
