I'm a little confused. Here's the scenario:
Taking a cruise to Barcelona, staying a few days
Flying from Barcelona to Warsaw on Norwegian airlines
Flying from Warsaw to Rzeszow (a smaller city in Poland) on LOT airlines (same day)
Then, I do the same thing with the flights on my US bound leg (fly from Rzeszow to Warsaw, Warsaw to home)
My questions are: How much time should I allow between my connecting flights for security or any customs?
Any experience or advice is very welcome!

From BCN to Poland, you will go through security only in BCN. No customs or immigration. Allow 20-30 minutes for security.
From Poland to the US, you will go through security in Rzeszow, no customs or immigration. From Warsaw to home (US I assume), you may go through security again, depending on the airport layout; you will go through immigration; you will not go through customs. When you arrive in the US, you will go through customs and immigration and possibly security again, depending on the airport.
