Confused! Please help me! Direct train from Paris to Luxembourg?

I read different versions but am not sure which one is correct. I am confused as a result.

There is TGV train direct from Paris Nord to Luxembourg from the source - The Man in Seat 61. But i went to the SNCF website which indicates that there is no direct train but need to stop at Brussels midi and then to Luxembourg. Few sources indicate Eurostar, TGV, InOui can go to Luxembourg.

It says that High-speed TGV Duplex trains link Paris Gare de l'Est with Luxembourg in 2h14 up to 6 times a day.

But SNCF website says otherwise. Trainline says the same as SNCF website. How come?

What particular date are you looking to travel? I checked for today and there are indeed direct trains from Paris Gare de l’Est to Luxembourg.

Hmm strange......

I checked for today - no direct train because it needs to arrive at Brussels Zuid via Eurostar first then to Luxembourg. Need to change train.

I suspect Brussels Luxembourg is actually at Brussels Zuid, not real Luxembourg. Please see the time - 9 mins walk from Brussels Zuid to Luxembourg which makes no sense.

Sorry, i just realised that i selected wrong option - BE Luxembourg (Belgium). The correct option is Luxembourg (LU).

yes, there is a Luxembourg station in Brussels, near the EU area, and then there is the country of Luxembourg and city of Luxembourg served by Luxembourg Station.

All local transportation in the country of Luxembourg is free of charge.

There is also a province of Luxembourg in Belgium. In 1830 when the Brits. created Belgium Luxembourg was in personal union with the Dutch king. And other possession of the Dutch king was the County of Limburg. Both were split in half between Belgium and the Netherlands.

And "Brussel Luxembourg" is indeed a station in Brussels, on the line to Luxembourg. And there is a station named Luxembourg in Paris as well..
