I thought I understood this - now I don't. I am clear that my total baggage allowance is 20 kg, regardless how many physical bags I check. I thought I understood that my airfare included one free checked bag. I further thought I understood that I would only need to pay for checked luggage if I had a 2nd, 3rd, etc. Now I think I'm reading that I have to pay for all bags ... 1st, 2nd, etc, at $20 per bag. Can you clarify? Are any checked bags included free with the airfare? thanks

No. Go back on the website and add any extra bags as it is cheaper now than when you get to the gate.

I went to this EasyJet page, www.easyjet.com/EN/Booking.mvc/Step2#HoldBaggage, and tried some options. If I say one bag, it adds €11. If I delete that bag, it takes off the €11, but says "No Luggage" and specifies the hand baggage requirements. What seems to be allowed is 1 bag, 20 kg max, only if you pay €11. More weight is extra. 20 kg in 2 bags is €11 more.
