Condor Air sale

I love Condor out of Seattle but I've put off buying tickets with them for now based on all of the chatter I hear about Condor being acquired, possibly by Lufthansa.

Does anyone have more recent intel? I was going to buy tickets this fall for either May 2020 or August/September 2020, but I was going to go Delta instead of Condor to be safe.

Maybe the sale has something do do with this:

I think that was many months ago.

Well, I heard it on the radio (WINS-NY) on 9/13/19, and look at the CNN date in the posted link. But the video they link says Flight DE2116 on February 6, 2019. So that raises the question of whether it was hushed up.
