In December we traveled on Swiss Air and at a connecting flight at CDG we were stuck in the plane waiting for about 4 hours because they had sorted luggage incorrectly (people that weren't even on the flight had luggage on the plane) and they had to resort and reload it all. Then they could not get the door to latch and we had to wait for a Lufthansa mechanic to fix it. We missed our connection and ultimately got to our destination nine hours late. The agents in ZRH were less than helpful too. Instead of arriving at 3pm we didn't arrive at our final destination until almost midnight. My 7 yr old handled it like a trooper, but many tears were shed due to exhaustion and hunger. I complained to Swiss Air on their website and just got a reply today that they are giving us each a 20% off coupon good for a year on any trans Atlantic economy class flight because of their issues. I am quite impressed and honestly didn't expect anything-or to ever fly on Swiss again. So if you ever are debating about complaining, it may be worth it.
