Can anyone tell me how to get from the Como San Giovanni train station to the dock for the servizo rapido boat service to Bellagio?

It's a 15 minute walk from San Giovanni station to the center of town, Piazza Cavour. THe piazza is near the dock where you will find the ticket windows for the ferries and hydrofoils to Bellagio. We found all the other towns on the lake more interesting than Como and highly recommend having dinner at Mario's in Varenna.

The day I arrived in Como it was raining and so i took a cab. I can't remember how much it cost but it was quick and dry. The dock is down hill from the station which makes it easy to walk if you want to. I also remember a bus being there but am not sure where it went.

It's been a few years, but I think we ended up taking a quick cab to the dock, too. It was VERY inexpensive. Bellagio is GORGEOUS -- have a good time!
