Does anyone know the number to the bus station in Colmar? Also if you can purchase tickets in advance? I'm traveling from Colmar, France to Freiburg Germany to meet up with friends on a specific day so would like to purchase a ticket in advance.

Are you looking for train tickets?
If so use the German Railway Website for all trains in Europe. The link is: www.de.db Click on English and put your itinereary in. Remember: Gare is French for trainstation and Hbf or Hauptbahnhof is German for main train station.
You can make reservations, payment and print out a schedule. It's great. Everyone in Europe uses it.
Again this site does ALL trains in Europe.

No, I'm not looking for train tickets. There is a bus that runs between Colmar and Freiburg but I can't find a website for it. I'm hoping somebody may have traveled this same route and has information regarding it.

Sue, I googled "bus from Freiburg to Colmar" and came up with this info in English on a Colmar web site: - "Several times a day, a trans-national line links Colmar to Freiburg, Germany. Further information is available on the company.s website Südbaden Bus." I then looked up www.Suedbadenbus.de. (Suedbaden is the name of the German Region). Found the info in German, plugged in from Colmar (F) gare (railway station Colmar in France) to railway station in Freiburg, Breisgau (Germany, in the Breisgau area as opposed to other Freiburgs) and came up with a travel time of 1 hour 17 minutes but no ticket price. You can, I believe, get this info from the Deutsche Bahn website, maybe not the price but the schedule. They have a spot on the questionnaire for "Nahverkehr" which means something like "short distances traffic". This will give you the bus. I think there are other stops in Colmar besides the train station. Also, plug in your date, since the schedule might differ on the weekends. Have I confused you enough? And now we still don't know if you can buy your ticket in advance....
