class ?? Bergen to Oslo train

Following Ricks tour, we reserved Bergen to Oslo train to return home. Any reason to do the following?? Found in Scandinavia Ricks guide book updates "Norway in a Nutshell
On the Oslo–Bergen train, the 90-kr fee to upgrade to "Komfort" class includes the 50-kr seat-reservation fee."
