Hello!
Is there any way to avoid the long steep stairs in the Civitavecchia Train Station? I just had a knee replacement and don't think I can lug a suitcase and myself up those stairs. Are there any elevators? Is there another entrance without the stairs? Thank you!

We have used that station a dozen times and do not remember an elevator anywhere. But I wasn't looking either so it could be tucked into some far corner. You can access the station by using the car ramp from the street but the station itself is elevated. Check with roninrome.com to see if he has any information on an elevator.
