what is the cheapest way to get from the port to rome? bus or train? what is the most reliable and how long will the journey take

This question has been asked before: take the train a short walk along the boardwalk from the port. Buy the ticket called BIRG from the newspaper vendor/ shop. It gives you full use of transport for the day in to and from Rome.Be sure you stamp/validate it in the yellow box before you board.
