The bahn.de site is not accepting bookings for early June when we want to go, there is construction. They are not making it clear whether these trains are not going to run at all...or are they awaiting further information before opening the dates. Does anyone know? I would have to go to a Plan 'B' if I can't take the overnight train...that's fine, but I'd like to understand city night line situation.

City Night Line has a website (really part of German Rail) with a customer service webpage. There is also an email address for customer service (Kundendienst) and a form to ask questions as well as a phone number to call. They're more likely to know the answer than someone here. As long as you are not trying to get a discount fare, you might be able to book, if it is possible, by calling German Rail at 011-49-1805-996633.

"Early June"? I've tried booking for June 1st and 10th plus 5th, and every time can go all the way to where I would have to give them a credit card number. Did you go further than that? For the 11th on I can't book because it is more than 92 days in advance.

Yes, I put my credit card number in and they would not accept the reservation. In another part of their site they state they are not taking bookings from the middle of April on because of the constructions. My question is...is 'not taking any bookings' the same as all these trains are cancelled. If they're cancelled would they just say that?
