I KNOW THERE IS A TRAIN TO THE CRUISE PORT BUT CAN YOU GET FROM CT BY WATER AS WELL.
IF SO, HOW DO WE DO THIS?

I am not aware of any ferry or water service from the CT to the port of Civitavecchia. I'm looking at the ferry schedules and I don't see any. There are, however, a few train runs per day that go down the west coast of Italy to Civitavecchia from the CT. I haven't been on them but they reportedly go inland for quite a bit of the journey. Perhaps others can comment.

Someone asked a similar question recently. I believe the answer was that there is private boat service from Monterosso, but no scheduled service. Try a search in the box at upper right if you want to find that response, which I recall included contact information for the boat owner.
