It is my first time travelling to Europe and i am having a difficult time trying to find the best website to take the chunnel from paris to london on may 1. I will be travelling with my two granddaughters and on one eurostar website i read that tickets could be bought for around 45-94 euros but cant figure out how to get discounted tickets?

Book on the official site, www.eurostar.com. You've waited way too long to get the cheapest fares. As of a moment ago, there were tickets available for $105/person for one particular morning departure time. Prices were higher for all other departure times.

As Tim explains, the earlier you book, the cheaper the fares. The really cheap tickets go very quickly. Also note that you have to be checked in 30 minutes before departure.

Oops! I checked London-Paris rather than Paris-London. For 1 May there ar several departure times for Paris-London that have a fare of $103/person.

If you want to travel later to get cheaper fares, Eurostar tickets go on sale around 120 days before the journey date. You really need to get in around that time to get the cheapest fares.
