Any suggestions on where to dine on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in London? My husband and I would like a dressy restaurant(s) for the evening(s). I would also like to hear suggestions on what do on these days as well - we are planning on taking the Christmas morning 1660's walk, but that is as far as we have got! We will be based in Victoria at the Lime Tree Hotel.

I have stayed at teh Lime tree. I have never been in London at Christimas, but why don't you email the Lime Tree and ask for suggestions. The lady who helps run it has been most helpful to us in the past.

Book early, preferably by the end of October. Here is a list of restaurants that were open on Christmas Day last year.
