Hi. I’m having trouble reaching www.nationalrail.co.uk by phone listed in GREAT BRITAIN book (22d edition): 011-44-20-7278-5240. This is via our regular Visa U.S. service. Is the number still valid, or is there something else I need to do to ask a person there a question?
Have you tried their online “Contact”:page?
https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/contact.aspx
The fact that they have no phone number listed for Help and Support suggests to me they have no employees serving that function. Like many travel-related companies these days, they are short-staffed.
What is your question? There are some knowledgeable people here who may be able to answer it.
Visa U.S. service
??
What happens when you call that number?
What are you trying to find out? I have never heard of calling them. If it is about a particular rail service, you need to call the rail company operating that service.
nationalrail.co.uk does not operate any trains nor do they sell tickets. It is basically just an information site that will connect you to the train companies that sell the tickets.
What is “Visa US Service”?
I'm happy to help too, but the question is confusing.
That number is obsolete although you can still find it listed on the National Rail website if you look hard enough, They haven't been good at scrubbing old webpages.
If it is bookings you are looking for do them online.
