What is Malpensa like for time on check in & security ?

A solid two hours, maybe three for a completely relaxed approached. About the same as anywhere else.

1h30 usually enough, but spare yourself 2h at least for peace of mind. US and Israel-bound flights have their own check-in area, semi-secluded, with a 3rd inspection of documents.
