Cheapest Route From London to Paris

My friends and I will be flying into London in May, and will be leaving directly for Paris after three days in the city. I was wondering what the cheapest way to get from London to Paris is. We'll be in Europe for 71 days, and have a two month eurail pass, but we're going to wait about a week before we validate it so we don't run out of travel days near the end of our trip. So, we thought spending those days without the pass in London and Paris could keep us occupied 'til we could move on! Thanks in advance for your help!

I think taking the bus to the ferry terminal, crossing and then hopping another bus would be cheapest. Buses are nearly always the cheapest routes after all.

The cheapest way is to walk, with a ferry crossing. The next cheapest is probably by Eurolines bus. Fares vary, but I have found one for two weeks' time at £21 for an under 26 year old. There are three daytime journeys, and one overnight journey, and the journey takes 8 - 9 hours.

Details are at www.eurolines.co.uk/, which is part of the National Express website. Eurolines runs international services across Europe.
