I know I posted a topic similar to this a couple days ago.
But does anyone know a cheap and inexpensive way to travel from Brussels to Germany. I leave for Brussels on Friday and I am trying to get to Germany that same day

Well, Germany is a very vague destination, but I would consider just taking the train. The main line will get you to Koln in a couple hours, from there you can figure out a direction to go.
Scott,
It would help to know which city you'll be going to in Germany?
For most trips fast train (ie: TGV) is the best option, while for larger distances budget airlines are often a better alternative (and often quite inexpensive if booked early enough).
Cheers!
Consider using Germany's Mitfahrzaentrale ride share service, where you pay a small fee to find a driver going in your direction and share a ride. I think there are links to it on the Deutschebahn website under "Mitfahr". WWW.DB.DE
