I am going to Paris w/the family from 12/23/2007 to 12/31/2007. Does anyone know when the deals are to book nonstop flights? Right now they are about $750 rt.

Frank, I'm shooting for $650- $700 including taxes and fees. There's 6 of us. Rather spend that extra cash in Paris.

Try Newark airport. US Air usually has cheaper flights, although the service is hit or miss.

Check Kayak.com for the best deals. Plug in your dates/airports and watch it go.

Air India (airindia.com) Newark-Paris return those dates for $615, all in. You have to jump thru some hoops to register at their site, but worth the price!

Like Kayak, Sidestep.com is a good source for comparison. I like their format and it's easy to modify your search. They have a summary column on the left which allows you to choose different options.

I took Frank's advice and bought the tickets directly from Air France at $753 ea. I asked friends about Air India, and they all said to stay away from it. Husband said the same thing and he is a seasoned traveler.
