Has anyone heard of any cheap flights for late July/August? We need to fly open jaw (into Venice and back home from Rome). Seems like those flights are still quite high. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I can't help you specifically on Italy, but right now, flights to Europe are at their cheapest in over a decade. Of course, nobody can predict the future, but I haven't seen ticket prices this low since the mid 1990s. You're unlikely to see anything cheaper in the near future.

All the flights that I see on line are around $1,400 -- have you seen anything cheaper?
