Go to www.paris-anglo.com. and you will find a link to a shuttle. We have used different shuttle services, but they are all cheaper than a taxi, less trouble than the RER, and the price is fixed in advance. Google has listings for lots of them, so be sure and shop around. The last one we used (blue vans with yellow letters) has (or had) a web site www.bluvan.fr We made all our arrangements by phone from the U.S. and they confirmed by email. Upon arrival we went to a phone booth in the baggage area and calledl a special number (no coins or card required). They told us the gate at which they would meet us. Took only 10-15 mins. max.

Let me know need additional info.

If you don't want to schlepp your own luggage, take the Roissybus from CDG to Opera (8.50 EUR) and then a very short taxi ride from there to your hotel. If you're packing light, the cheapest way would be to take the RER B from CDG to Chatelet les Halles, walk through the connecting tunnels to the Chatelet Metro station, and take Metro line 1 (direction la Defense) to Palais Royal-Musee du Louvre. Then walk to your hotel. Cost: 8.10 EUR. Go to www.ratp.fr to download and print a Metro/RER map for central Paris and a RER map for outlying zones, including CDG.

Adding to my previous post. The Chatelet les Halles RER station/Chatelet Metro station is the central transfer hub in Paris. It's very large. Look for the "correspondance" (transfer) signs. But you may not want to find your way through the maze of tunnels until you're more familiar with the system and don't have luggage to contend with.
