We've been through this before. 2E to 2G. But when we go home, 2G to 2E, there was a sign in 2G that seemed to indicate there was a faster way back to 2E. Is that just a different bus? Does one still have to go through the long line for passport control in the main departure area of 2E? Has anyone done this? Thanks
We just returned from Paris this weekend. We took a taxi to CDG this time and the driver dropped us right at 2E.. so I'm sorry I dont have anything to contribute concerning the most direct path between 2G & 2E. However I can tell you that the long line for passport control & security check is still VERY LONG. It's one of the 1st times we've ever arrived at an airport 2 hours before departure and were VERY relieved to have done so. The airport staff was very helpful and did an excellent & efficient job of routing people thru the various steps required to get into a plane in this day & age. But the terminal was PACKED with travelers at every step of the process. Our departure time was 10:40 a.m.... which may have been a particularly busy time of day, but I recommend getting to the airport plenty early save yourself from as much worry & aggravation as possible. Good luck!
