Anyone have any tips on the most efficient way to get from Chamonix to Nice without spending several hundred euros per person on a flight?

Both the cheapest and the most efficient way would be to take a SAT bus from Chamonix to the Geneva airport and an easyJet flight from there to Nice. The bus fare is €30. If you book far enough in advance, the easyJet fare can be less than 30 CHF (around $30 US).
