What is the best way / routing from Chamonix to Lausanne? Will travel mid September. Thank you.

One way by train/bus/train (3 transportation changes) is via Le Chatelard-Frontiere and Martigny. Trip takes just under 3.0hrs. Here's a picture of what I see on www.bahn.de. http://gyazo.com/da875c7ff2a592efef582ab86599f381 A second way is by bus from Chamonix-Mt. Blanc to Geneva Airport. Bus departs every 30 minutes and takes just over an hour. Fare is 29Euro. Then, you can take the 48min ride on the IR train from the Geneva Airport to Lausanne.
