CDG Transfer (time) questions

We are flying through CDG and have 1 1/2 hour layover before flying onto FRA. I'm assuming we go through customs / immigration in France. The transfer is all within the large T2 (2e to 2G). Two questions:

  1. Seems tight, should I be worried?
  2. Since it's seems tight, should we check our luggage and only worry about it in Germany?

Any other suggestions / thoughts are also appreciated.

You will go through immigration (passport control) in Paris, but will go through customs (goods control) in Frankfurt. However, customs is merely a matter of walking through the Green Channel Nothing To Declare line. Unless you're "randomly selected for additional screening" (possible but rare), you're done.

Immigration and security at CDG can definitely take time. However, assuming you're all on one ticket, your airline will put you on the next available flight to Frankfurt, and there should be multiple flights a day.

assuming you're all on one ticket,

That is the key to success.

Don't worry if you miss the connection the airline will put you on the next flight as long as it is one ticket and space available. Check the bag all way to Frankfurt.
